The CX-3800 series represents the future of RBI compounds at Cylene. The compounds in the CX-3800 series have been designed for prime oral activity, an important factor when administering cancer therapeutics to patients over a long course of treatment. This next generation of RBI compounds has enhanced oral bioavailability, long plasma half-lives, and potent RBI activity. The new chemical entities in the CX-3800 series are related to CX-3543 but have novel chemical scaffolds and distinct pharmaceutical properties.
Cylene is rapidly advancing the CX-3800 series compounds into the clinic. We have initiated multiplex screening, coordinated with medicinal chemistry-based lead optimization and early stage ADMET characterization.
